They just added a deathmatch option recently, which is just straight up slaughter in a confined space. But in the regular Extraction Royale matches, they've been running trios from the beginning and test solo mode at certain times. It has loot crates, and if you pick up a hex, you can extract it. But you can also hack somebody else's extraction by shooting up the power supply and hacking the terminal. The cyberlombs add a fun twist too. |

I was super excited about this one since I love the Blomkamp and Copely duo everywhere else I’ve seen it. But the game got SUPER sweaty, SUPER fast. It feels like only “pro” clans and e-sports bros play it anymore, and I also felt most of the community switched from playing the game to enjoy it to playing the game purely for profit. So I quit. Didn’t help that none of my squad really expressed an interest in it. We’re all foaming at the mouth for Arc Raiders though. Oddly enough, I made a post about OTG MONTHS ago and got zero traction from it. Same with Arc. I guess I’m an outlier when it comes to my gaming tastes? That or most of ARF is too busy playing retarded COD titles that I’m 110% over lol. Anyway, I’m waiting to see when OTG fully releases (if it ever does), and I may pick it up then. The forced crossplay in the beta right now is just not fun to me. |
