First, I love watches, specifically mechanical ones. I find them interesting and pieces of art. I don't have many but I love what I do have. Up until last week I had a No Date Submariner 6 digit, Tudor Pelagos Blue, and an Oris Big Crown (just shipped it off for repairs). I have been shopping for a new dressier watch, and of course chose something totally different. I just got an Oris Propilot Altimeter in stainless steel. I am big into hiking and mountaineering, and I am fascinated by the mechanical movement with an altimeter (I believe they are separate functions but still cool). Does anyone have any experience with these? I notice the barometer and altimeter change a little bit throughout the day so I’m curious if there are tricks to using it. |

I've been on an OD green color kick here lately.

I love compressor style watches. Can't get used to the case thickness as they generally sit pretty high on the wrist. Even compared to my Ball Diver, compressors are thicker (15mm vs 18mm+). |
