2.7L EcoBoost, 74K miles. Florida truck. 2WD, SuperCab (suicide doors), 6.5ft bed.

Super clean, brakes look good, no leaks, drives like a champ.

Besides changing plugs, what else should I be looking at doing now as preventative maintenance, and what potential problems should I keep an eye out for?

Change fluids. Oil, trans, coolant. If used to tow/haul diff fluid.

2015, XLT super crew, 5.0, 36 gallon tank.
124,000, best truck I've ever owned.
Water pump, plugs, brakes tires have been the only things it's needed

Bought my 2015 F150 new, 3.5 EB crew cab 4x4.
Currently 92K miles, one coil pack, plugs, front calipers, rotors, hoses, rear pads.
90% of life was towing 3500 pound enclosed trailer, now daily driver but I'm retired.

Did it come with any maintenance records?
If so, start there. If not, change the oil for starters.
Check the brakes, see what the manual says for transmission fluid, replace the brake fluid.
That should get you back to square one.

I just bought a '14 3.5 XLT super crew. Well maintained, whole brake system redone. Been reading about a timing chain issue on these engines, specifically that it can stretch a little. Anyone have any hard info on that?

That’s a steal.

I’ve got a 2015 3.5 Ecoboost with 157k miles. She’s starting to leak fluids but it’s cheaper to keep adding them than fixing them.

2013 5L.

Fuel pump's the only thing that went bad. The rest has been fluids.

Nice truck at a pretty good price.

As others have mentioned, check the service records and go from there.

I picked up a 2010 F510 2WD extended cab short bed with the 4.6L last year. It had 68,000 miles on it and one owner who was religious about the maintenance. Plus the dealership did a complete service right before I bought it. I got it for $12,000. The only thing wrong is a couple of small dings in the tailgate.
