I was having a moment of weakness Saturday. I knew I “needed” a new pair of boots. I decided since I already have four pairs of Red Wing Heritage boots, I would try something different. So after a bit of searching, I bought a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots. Attached File I’ve only worn them around the house thus far l, but they seem quite comfortable out of the box. They do appear to run slightly large. I wear a 14, and ordered that size. I could have probably gotten away with a 13.5 had they made them. I am fairly certain 13s would have been too small. The soles are the classic leather. They are a touch slippery on my wood floors, but should improve with some actual wear. If I’m not really happy, I can get my cobbler to add sole toppys to the toe section. It’s obviously a bit early to make conclusion about these, but so far I like them. |
