I put down a deposit on a Pivot Firebird Ride Eagle in YOLO yellow. Should be less than two weeks. I'm not quite ready to take the electronic shift plunge yet. I obliterated my rear derailleur last year on a ride. I'll take the $150 repair over the $700 repair. Attached File I'm excited to see how much better a carbon bike rides, especially as a bigger guy. |

Nice! New bikes are fun. I have yet to put mine on the dirt since buying it on Nov 21.  I have ridden it when the neighborhood roads dried, so was able to adjust fit, get things tuned, and get suspension balanced. Waiting... |

Our soil over here on the eastern half of the state seems to dry out a little faster. I'm already eyeballing the coming Thursday for another ride. I'm hoping to hit quite a few long rides this year. Most desirable to least: -Line Creek Plateau (did the whole plateau section as a down and back. Need to do the downhill) -The Whole Enchilada (will require a weekend+ trip) -Bangtail Divide (did it once, derailleur was bent, so I only had about 3 gears, but I'm also a much better rider now) -Schweitzer -There's a ride on Old Baldy in the Snowies I've seen very few pics of, but would like to do. And no doubt I'll be on local and regional trails quite a bit this year. |

Actually picked it up yesterday. Way earlier than I expected. I did a quick shakedown ride today, but the wind was viscous. Like 50mph. The grip screws were loose, and I want to adjust my dropper lever and rotate it closer to my thumb. Attached File |

A lot, probably only need to charge every other month. You get a spare battery and you have the app on your phone to check it. No big deal Edit to add; this is sram, no idea on shamano mountain. |
