I've been looking at getting her into an automatic for a long time but she has been reluctant. She's not flashy and worries about having expensive things at her work b/c she doesn't want to seem pretentious. That's a feature, not a bug, but I still want to give her nice things. She tried one of these on a while back on vacation and really liked it and i think it's within her comfort range as far as price. I scooped it for her birthday which is next week. Funded it by selling some unused gun stuff.

NICE! My wife said she always wanted a Cartier Tank. So I bought her one for our 10th anniversary. She refuses to wear it because she’s afraid of damaging it, it getting lost, or stolen. So it sits in its nice red box since last October.

Very nice!! It's new watch time for my wife...as I've been the watch whore as of late...she currently alternates between an older Movado with some small diamonds and the new Apple Watch...she's got a few other watches but nothing of note, no automatics, yet....so, whatever she wants...as that then leads to whatever I want (without much discussion LOL)... |
