I need some ideas for a chicken stabilizer.  Hear me out. Due to the wife's kind heart we now have a 5 week old bantam cochin that is defective and doesnt stay upright. It stands and wobbles like a drunk fat man and then just topples over and lays there. Wife is basically bonded to it so I get to keep it alive the best I can. Right now all the other 5 week old chicks are basically use it as a floormat. Can you guys help me come up with some sort of stabilizer than I can either install on the chicken or set the chicken on to try to re-calibrate its balance? Modelling things up and making a prototype is easy, ideas are hard. |

Perhaps your approach is wrong: you let it fall then set it back on its feet. Maybe if you sort of guided it through its fall it'll learn to adjust. |
