My wife recently finished chemo after Hodgkins lung cancer, three inch mass, kicked its ass, full recovery, about to return to work. She is now on a super health kick. Had about 20 Casio G-shocks, gave them away because she says plastic bands are toxic and have forever chemicals. She also wants to limit wearing her i watch due to EM exposure. She is a Physical Therapist in a rehab, washes hands a lot. I guess a metal bracelet is the only option. She says she doesn’t like the cloth bands because they stay damp after washing her hands all day. I want to get her a nice sporty watch. Something that can be worn in healthcare setting during patient care Any suggestions? Under $2k A high end quartz would be cool i think. |

I wouldn't want somebody else to buy me a watch. I don't want my wife to pick out a watch for me and I sure wouldn't let a bunch of strangers online choose my next watch. Maybe the OP's wife should buy her own watch. My guess is that if she really wanted one, she would have already bought it. |

Tissot, Certina, Hamilton, etc. all have ladies 36mm or so divers on SS bracelets for well under 1000 dollars. Less if you do quartz instead of automatic. For her health kick- The watch is all natural. SS. An automatic has no battery, it good for the environment. It exposes to no EMF or anything. The timer bezel is a natural way to time her walks, etc. If she hates it, 36mm is wearable by a guy. Show her pics of the watches and she if she likes one. |

Recently visited Switzerland and my wife picked the Certina below. The 34.5 mm DS Action Diver Titanium. She went with the green, but the blush/copper is a looker as well. Certina Apologies if the link doesn't work,internetin' from mobile is a struggle. |

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to get my wife. She's not an enthusiast like I am, and she's certainly not going to be winding and resetting a watch every time it hasn't been worn for a few days, so quartz it was. She likes the Citizen Eco Drives and I do too. I ended up getting her the Citizen Calendrier . I know. I'll go be poor somewhere else. |

Cartier Tank. Iconic watch, meets your requirements. Can probably get one if you stretch the budget a touch. Definitely can get one gently used. It’s my wife’s favorite watch. Attached File Most women don’t know much about watches, but they know the name Cartier. It will make her friends jealous and that’s more than half the battle  |
