Im being railroaded by a city prosecutor. They are trying to make an example out of me. I feel the justice system isnt on my side any more I dont know what other steps to take.Case |

I’m not a lawyer, or the smartest person. Maybe on a full desktop that website is easier to read vs the few minutes i spent on my phone trying to learn much of anything. A traffic ticket? Can you share for those who know more about this what happen? Have you talked to an actual attorney in your state about this? The depressed pessimist in me thinks the justice system turned into a revenue system years ago. Since idiot me can’t see anything about your case, I’d infer than you just get to pay a bonus tax in your life and move on. |

If you go to the second page of documents, the complaint and police report can be read. Family squabble - mom, son 1, son 2(OP). Sounds like son 1 currently has executor/power of attorney. Mom told her shrink(?) that OP threatened to kill son 1 if he's not made executor/POA. Shrink called cops, cops then went to son 1 who corroborated and identified OP as a scary gun owner. OP probably is being railroaded as a gun owner with the "tools to carry out the threat." Sorry, OP, bad situation, but you're in a bad area as a gun owner. Sounds like a "he said, she said" case and the State is likely to side with the non-gun owner. |

IANAL but, what are you looking for OP? I see 2 paths. You have a strong case for you didn't harass your brother because you didn't make any statements you intended to be communicated to him. Path 2 is plea to harassment if they drop the DV tag. |
