I don't know why I bother, I don't game, i mostly interact with my spreadsheet paying bills and all. But I also just like to type. I have a keychron with red linear switches and a Logitech with clicky blues, nothing special. I swap them around according to my mood. Some keyboard videos popped up on my YouTube feed that made me consider another one. What I choose was EPOMAKER Galaxy100. I got the creamy white one with marble white switches. I actually got it a couple hours after ordering it, that's nuts because I ordered it in the wee hours and it was delivered before the sun came up! I unboxed it and tried it out. The reviews mentioned how heavy it was but I didn't appreciate just how much, it's 4.4 pounds! My accuracy in typing was noticable improved, that's one of the reasons I use keyboards other than the ones that come with my things. My other ones just have white LEDs, this new one has all of the pretty colors. The key caps aren't shine through like my other ones which actually makes the letters and stuff more visible from the LEDs reflecting off the white caps. And I like the way it sounds. Monkey typing is more fun than ever  |

I've been on my Keychron Q6 with Baby Kangaroo V2's for about 3 years now. I've done a few mods to it including polyfill, force break, and a few others I don't remember. The sounds is fantastic. The typing experience is exceptional...and the price was in my range. Also heavy, but not 6lbs I don't think. I wanted something I didn't have to put together, was quality, didn't care about RGB, but you can't get away from it so it seems. Some people just don't understand the quality keyboard lifestyle. Once you type on one, you'll never go back. Typing on a membrane or cheap Corsair keyboard now is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It's torture. |

I actually got a cheap tkl velocifire (or something like that) from Amazon to mess around doing different things like tape, foam, and little gaskets on the switches and lube and stuff. I kind of fixed it till it was broke  . The main thing I learned is I really like my number keys. I still have it, I might take the switches out and save those. If I stopped when I should have I would have just gotten a separate num pad but that ship has sailed. |
