Very sharp but smooth and forgiving. Similar to Voskhod Teflon. Tonight the blade (3rd and final use) was teamed up with: Merkur 34C HD Yaqui synthetic Sudsy Soapery Bay and Citrus (non-tallow) Finish with alum block and skin bracer. |

Unfortunately these blades don't play nice with my Muhle R89 which uses Edwin Jagger's standard razor head. It may be that the long handle is the culprit. It's cumbersome. May buy a shorter handle for that razor and see if there's an improvement. But with the Merkur 34C HD it's a perfect match. |
