Very sharp but smooth and forgiving. Similar to Voskhod Teflon.

Tonight the blade (3rd and final use) was teamed up with:

Merkur 34C HD
Yaqui synthetic
Sudsy Soapery Bay and Citrus (non-tallow)
Finish with alum block and skin bracer.

Glad to hear it. I recently bought a hundred of them on a whim.

Unfortunately these blades don't play nice with my Muhle R89 which uses Edwin Jagger's standard razor head.

It may be that the long handle is the culprit. It's cumbersome. May buy a shorter handle for that razor and see if there's an improvement.

But with the Merkur 34C HD it's a perfect match.

I'll give them a try.

I do like the Voskhods.

I just got around to trying them, so far the only blade that has given me a smooth and comfortable shave in my Muhle Rocca. (Also perfoms very well in the R89 and Pearl Flexi.)

I'm very happy with them so far.

They’ve become my favorite, too. Close, AND smooth.

I just ordered a 100-blade pack from Maggard Razors along with some Black Friday specials.

They are my new favorite!    Thanks @ThePontificator !!

Fantastic shave and I can't believe how forgiving they are in my 34C.

It's going to be tough to use up my stash of others...

How do they compare with Feathers? I get a GREAT shave with Feathers in my 34C.

I think they are closer to the Gillette Platinum blades than the Feathers, but maybe not quite as durable.  They are on the upper end of the curve in terms of sharpness, so they’ll probably give you a good shave in the 34C.  If you’re looking for something comparable to Feathers in sharpness but more durable and cheaper, I think the Gillette Nacets are hard to beat.  I don’t like giving Gillette money, but they aren’t going to get rich off of gray market nacets that cost $13 on Amazon for a 100 pack.
