I've waited a while to talk about this on here due to some work related issues but I think its probably fine to talk about it. In September of 2025 I was a law enforcement officer working in Northern California. On this morning we were tasked with serving a felony warrant on an individual wanted for homicide. I only say all this because it explains why we were where we were at that time of night. It was approximately 0400 hours and we were setting up for the warrant service. I was in a parking lot with 5 other detectives waiting to brief the morning's operation. Standing in the parking lot I was looking around for satelites (something my youngest son and I do whenever we are out at night togther). Far off to the east I saw a light I first thought was a satelite. The light was moving slowly then appeared to stop all together. What happened next is what really caught my attention. While watching the first light, I saw four new lights come in to view. These four lights looked like they were moving in pairs from opposite directions laterally to the first light. My first thought was these for lights were military jets moving to intercept or at least get a visual of the first light. They made several passes going out of my field of view and coming back again. I told everyone I was with to look at what I was watching to make sure I wasnt crazy. Everyone agreed they saw it and we were watching something crazy. We watched for as long as we could before we briefed up our operation and went to work. I tried using a flight tracker ap on my phone but I wasnt able to find any aircraft in that direction. To this day I havent been able to determine what we saw or exactly where it was taking place. The direction they were in from our position put them in line with Tonapah Nevada (for reference). Im not sure we would be able to see that far away in the dark but it was directly in line. |

Were they just dots of light, or small to medium orbs or large orbs? Did they make any sudden right angle turnsor other maneuvers that just shouldn't work in our view of physics? |

Have you compared the approximate location with aerial refueling routes in the area? For example AR-625 is just west of Tonapah, the long legs go north and south, with the northernmost turn being just north of Tonapah. Green Flag West was going on at the time, so there would have been a lot of tanking going on, including at night. Sometimes the tanker will run a transponder during tanking, sometimes they don't. Not seeing anything on flight trackers isn't unusual. |

The four that were moving quickly maneuvered just like military fighter jets. They would each pass the first light I saw them bank around and pass again. Exactly how it would look if the four lights were military fighters engaging that single light. |

One thing I did find and I have no idea if this is what I saw but there was a news report of an unknown aircraft that crashed outside of Area 51. The military came in and shutdown the area, cleaned up the crash site then literally brought in earth moving equipment and covered up the crash site. A crash in the dessert would line up with what we saw being an engagement. |

Man I wish I had more details. i can only share what I saw and what it looked like to me. It really looked like four jets were engaging a single object in the sky. Which would line up with the mysterious crash they had at the same time (I believe it was the same day). Maybe it will come out in a future wave of UAP file release |
