One of my cats has evidently ruptured his cornea. I really can't afford to have the eye removed. It's about $4k. I keeping it clean, using a boric acid wash (mild) to try and keep infection away. He seems to be handling it well. Doesn't seem to be in pain, very active and eats well. He's sleeping on my lap right now. Anyone have to deal with this? I put this over in GD also. |
| You owe it to him to so something. "He doesn't seem to be in pain " and "ruptured cornea" are two terms that have no correlation. If you havent at least taken him for a preliminary vet visit, start there. Eye injuries are extremely painful in general. |
