RIP Libby, you will be missed A rescue as a pup, only 5. Renal failure from unknown reason. She fought it for a month and acted like nothing was wrong even though we were giving fluids every night, weird food, etc. Stoic, hardcore baller and frisbee fiend all the way to the end, even the day prior to saying goodbye. Last vet visit all her numbers were improving, but then collapsed and we had to carry her to the vet. RIP, we love you. |

Good dogs never die, they live on forever in your heart and soul. I too had a dog named Libby, short for Liberty. Got her right after they dropped the twin towers. |

thanks everyone. Each one of these hits harder and harder. She was such a lover, cuddler, pleaser and loved us so much. It's so frustrating to not be able to explain to them in plain terms what is happening, how we are not the ones doing it to her, we are trying to help with the fluids, the pills, the weird food. I just hope she somehow knows that. This is our second yellow that only made it to 5 years old. RIP Jake (prior yellow) also. |

Man, I’m sorry, I know exactly how you feel today. Plenty of hurt and sadness. The real price of having a loving and loyal friend is the heartbreak when they pass. Payment in full for all the years of joy they give us. |
