Last weekend I bought a couple of more trucks. First I bought this. 
It’s a wrecked ‘71 GMC that was wrecked shortly after being redone. It has a complete new black LMC interior that will go in the red ‘70 Chevy. I also bought this. 
It’s a 1963 Chevy with a really cool patina. It will get all of the mechanical pieces out of the wrecked ‘71 GMC. 5 bolt rearend, 5 bolt front disk brakes, power brake booster and master cylinder, power steering and the 350/350 engine transmission combo. It will also get the same lowering components I used on the ‘70 except I will do my own C notch and not use the worthless “bolt in” kit. I’ve already snagged a set of slightly used 20” tires in the same sizes I used on the ‘70. I’m hoping to luck into a buy on a set of 20” wheels. I plan to build the ‘63 this winter and hopefully drive it to a few shows and resell it next spring. I’ll start a thread on it when I start it. |
