Thought I would pass this along as it was a great experience.

I recently spent an entire afternoon with Andy Plummer, the originator of the Stack & Tilt swing system.  Most people have not heard about it but it has been around for about 15-20 years.

Andy teaches weight distribution, hip & shoulder turn, club head path and low point control with an emphasis on low point (ball first then divot with the irons) and hitting a push-draw ball flight.  I started it over a year ago by purchasing the book on Amazon.  After reading the book I have never hit the ball better in my life and I used to be a fairly decent player decades ago.

If you look closely at a lot of touring pros, many of them incorporate S&T principles in their swing.  I've also found it to be much easier on my body (I'm in my early 70s) due to the set up and particularly in the backswing.

I've practically eliminated fat shots and the really wild stuff.  I also I think I've gained 10 yards with the irons and probably over 20 with the driver just due to more consistent & solid contact and having more weight on the left side at impact.

I really wish I had known some of the things Andy taught me when I was playing in college.  The guy is a true gentleman and teaches all over the world.  If you have the time & means, I would suggest attending one of his clinics.  The book is quite good as well.  Any questions, let me know.

Is this the book?
"Some of the greatest dads I've ever seen weren't so much perfect as they were willing to work hard to overcome their failings. Does that make sense?"

Yes. Yes it does.

Yes it is.

It can be a bit detailed but it essentially reduces the swing to five major swing points and for me it actually lowers the number of swing thoughts going through your head. I'm no longer on swing number 87B and just executing one swing without having a different secret or feel every day.

It has also allowed me to take time off from the game and then pick up right where I left off.  I don't always have to hit 500-600 balls per week on the range to keep up my level of play.

If you want to view a YouTuber that Andy has taught who really understands how the method works and communicates it well then check out Rob Cheney.

I will say that hitting a push-draw where the club passes through the ball like it's not even there is one of the best feelings in life.
