The model 3LEH is based on the Model 8HT series of upper halves except instead of a piston system the model 3LEH is designed with a direct impingement gas system and a same plane height gas block. Due to the 10 inch free floating rail system not touching barrel, any installed accessories or the way the handguard is held won't affect the barrel and will keep this upper half on target while shooting. The Vortex Strikefire II optic allows for a lower 1/3 cowitness, which means you won't have to take the optic off to use iron sights since they will be in the lower 1/3 of the viewing area.
