What are your favorite metal working, fabrication and welding channels on YouTube? I’ve been looking for some more stuff to watch during my downtime to keep the ideas flowing and see how other guys have their shops setup and utilize tools. What do you all find stimulating and useful? House Made, Clough42, West Weld, Fireball Tool (although, he has pretty much just started to promote his own products apart from any interesting use case), Tim Welds, The Fabrication Series are all some of my frequent watches. |

I think he just makes one when he wants some extra income for that month. Clickspring is awesome because he is making videos of things that generally require talent and they are short. I've noticed that youtube for learning a skill is great up until you get your own skill to some modest level, after that the value of youtube drops off a cliff. ie. it's heavily biased towards beginners or basic skill development and once your skills are at that level youtube becomes almost worthless. Your time is better spent practicing than watching once you're at a basic level. I don't mind the longer videos, if they're informative / entertaining.....This Old Tony generally hits that requirement for me, with some exceptions. In bold I agree with 100%, lots of channels helped me a ton when I first bought my mill / lathe, I certainly watch less machining content today than I did back then.....not that I don't still have plenty to learn. Inheritance Machining is a fairly new channel, great video quality and mostly entertaining....he does have a tendance to have longer videos though. |

| I can see why some don't like the longer format. There's a good solution, put a TV in your shop! Great background noise, motivation and when needed, big screen "how-to" right there where you need help. Not to mention, better to be in your shop than on the couch watching TV. No, nearly nothing over a few minutes is worth watching on your phone unless that's your only option. |

I watched a few of his splitter videos. He’s a talker! Very informative and entertaining. He mentioned Making Mistakes with Gary in one of his videos. I’ve been enjoying his videos lately. |
