I'm starting to wonder if the "legacy crash retrieval and reverse engineering program" is nothing but a money-making scheme and all the secrecy/misinformation/disinformation/etc is just cover for the theft of billions of taxpayer dollars.

Here's what we assume to be true and some conjecture:
1) Every government-appointed group that researches UAP can't get access to the "legacy program".

2) Nobody with a verifiable link to the "legacy program" has ever gone public aside from Bob Lazar but he admits he could have just been fed misinformation to create a false narrative.

3) Eric Weinstein can't find any top level physicists associated with the "legacy program".

4) The UAP phenomenon is certainly real, but the government is putting forward a convincing display of ignorance.  If there was really a "legacy program" that had craft and biologics in their possession, this whole disclosure thing would have a very different feel to it instead of the government just saying "yeah we've known about them for awhile but have no clue who/what they are."  It's having the predictable effect of everyone assuming the government is hiding the truth.

5) Somehow every person claiming to have direct contact with the "legacy program" is part of the intelligence community, lacks authenticity, and seems to be feeding the public a line of bullshit.  They use NDA's and clearances as excuses when the truth may be far more sinister.

6) There's ample official documentation to suggest there's SOMETHING going on behind the scenes but it's a giant shell game and they'd be able to siphon the money whether they actually have NHI craft or not.  This whole "we can't tell the public because they'll panic" narrative is really damn convenient if what you're really hiding is colossal fraud.  Congressmen can search facilities as much as they want when there was never a craft or body to begin with.

7) To keep the narrative going, all they have to do is let someone see something that looks super advanced once in a while and it could be nothing more than a Hollywood-level prop or the right person "leaks" their story to someone reputable.  That person spreads the story and keeps the legend alive.

8) An accountant who appears on UAPGerb's podcast and digs into the funding side of "the legacy program" did a full presentation that gives a strong estimate in the trillions for money siphoned off from the 40's until now.  The fake secret (alien craft/bodies) is covering the real secret (we're doing whatever we want with the money) and considering the CIA's history of self-funding along with the creation of the Agency occurring just months after the Roswell incident, the dots connect with a hazy line.  Did they use the UFO flap of the mid-40's along with the wild rumors spreading after the crash of a classified program (MOGUL or something else man-made) to create multiple hidden departments that required funding without Congressional oversight but were always just fronts for money laundering?  "We're using this money to reverse engineer alien stuff, but we have to keep it super secret because reasons.  Just keep sending the checks and don't ask questions."

9) People often say "how are the aliens so advanced but crash all the time?" or "somebody would have walked out with pieces/pictures/etc by now" or some other fairly reasonable argument against the "legacy program" that is explained perfectly if there were never recovered craft in the first place and the whole of the government's UAP involvement has been hiding videos/photos/radar data and occasionally appointing someone to investigate the phenomenon but not getting any answers.

10) Fuck me, the problem with this theory is if it's true, nobody will believe it.  The line has been "we don't have alien craft" forever and it could have been true all along but the disinformation campaign has worked like a charm.  No matter what's released, a significant portion of the population will assume there's a shitload that's being hidden.  Using a real but mysterious phenomenon to create a black hole into which money disappears but results are never required is exactly the sort of shit some greedy smart fucks would have done after getting a taste of it with the Manhattan Project.  "All we need is a really big secret and we can make unlimited money vanish" was a key takeaway of the development of the atomic bomb.  Access to billions of dollars without oversight is going to turn some people bad.

Now, there are plenty of arguments against this theory that rely on hearsay and there are just as many supporting arguments with a rational basis.  The topic is so garbled, we have no way to tell the truth from lies or lies from false narratives.  Some public figures like David Grusch could be completely honest but they've been fed a convincing story that only gets supported by others who've been fed the same tale.  Why has no one ever straight up said "I was part of the legacy program and here's how many craft we have, where they are, what they look like, etc"?  It's always "I heard X" or "there's documents suggesting Y" from outsiders who tried to open those doors and failed.

I can see that.   I found it strange when they did the strong pivot from UAP/UFO craft videos and the next week started talking about NHI and various other species around us, but not giving anything strong regarding that other than mentioning NHI are in the mix somewhere and after that was stated, things have really slowed down.  They talked about NHI and were stuck without people and their nDA but it goes beyond that for some which I'm confused with, Trump signed the waver, why nothing new (I have been under a rock for a while so maybe I missed something big.)

We keep hearing that aerospace/weapons are 20 years ahead of us, but it's been 80 years and we don't have any reactionless drives or materials that could withstand the apparent G forces.

Does anybody remember what happened to that guy in the garage who discovered some sort of reactionless drive, where people poo pooed it saying it was probably just a giant compass that needed a magnetic field or something but then millions were spent to test the  "Warp Drive" in low Earth orbit and results were promising, but we haven't heard anything new.  Their versions of reactionless drives in labs match what this guy discovered in his garage and they still can't explain how it works, other than it does.     It's an extremely weak force but it's there, an extremely weak force over over a decade's time can get something moving pretty fast.

I don't think it matters.  It'd be awesome if they released enough info and tangible evidence to remove all doubt, but this forum has existed for nearly a decade because it's a fun place to talk about fringe topics with hypothesis tossed around and yes, a "safe space" to just chat bout nerdy topics.

It's not like everybody has to think one way or another as seen in places like GD, very polarized arena there.  Here in this forum, we have regulars  who doubt and are skeptical without shitting on threads, to people who are absolutely positive these things are real.   So yeah, we can hope and cheerlead and think about what phrases spoken are referring to or if there's a meaning or nothing at all and the like.

There's a whole lot of paranormal out there and around so I don't think we'll ever run out of content.  The good thing with these releases, even if shown a fake, they remove potentials.  A lot of theories are at least being cut short with the new information released which leaves the number of potential theories in a smaller circle on a Venn diagram.   If you don't have patience I think you'll be frustrated a  whole bunch with the content of this forum.   I personally feel  that I  don't' want to experience everything the people that were taken talk about and brought back.  Not many of them have good things to say or have any intention of wanting to go again.  It's both a living hell and when they talk to shrinks about it they're mocked as making it up for attention and so they're stuck alone, a Travis Walton experience is really not something I'd like to do.

3: EW recently seemed quite mollified with what he’s learned or been read in to. And he does not seem to be the guy who’d just be like “oh, it’s all smoke and mirrors? Cool, that’s what I thought. I’m gonna go put on a happy face and make it sound like everything is normal.” Because he’s historically had the fortitude to say those uncomfortable things too.

Personally though, even if we don’t have a true “Crash retrieval program” (which I do not personally ascribe to)… that doesn’t change the sightings, experiences and stories of those who have seen and interacted with UAPs.

As someone who’s seen a UFO (back when they were called that ) there’s still a lot of explaining to do. Only mentioning it again because I haven’t seen whatever I saw before or since…

4: The government is doing what smart criminals do when they’re busted. They’re copping to the absolute minimum and ignoring everything else. That’s why it’s such a dichotomy with getting these UAP tranches vs. what the government has “disclosed”. It’s a trichotomy if you include whistleblower testimony.

That's the most compelling case but when all the stories are coming out of a place that has fully embraced one event for the sake of tourism, I get skeptical.

Never underestimate the resolve of a scammer.  The whole tridactyl mummy thing is a good example.  I have watched experts rip apart the MRI's and X-Rays, pointing out very clearly that they are expertly-assembled models constructed from human body parts looted from tombs, but the team that controls access to them are still pushing their authenticity.

I agree with all of this.  A huge part of the confusion stems from knowing the government has more information that they're holding, but no idea just how deep it goes.

No matter what they say or show, people are still going to say "ok but show us that other thing that we know you have."  The whole damn thing is just a bigger version of the JFK and Epstein files, which is a predictable side effect of keeping secrets for decades.

There are plenty of compelling crash retrieval stories, but ai have my doubts that the aerospace contractors have as much or any control of the materials as has recently been claimed.
Crash recoveries from years ago have always talked about being flown or driven to AF bases - Wright Patterson being a common one.    Better security and a lot bigger than most aerospace plants, except for maybe Boeing in Everett
That’s all been about deflection
And I don’t see the issue with how things move slowly because of our understanding of the materials computing or AI  and power sources

Which crash retrievals do you find compelling?  Genuine question.

I have researched all of them more deeply than most and haven't found many that aren't difficult to write off as a recovery of something human made that isn't public and the UFO angle is nudged along by the folks trying to keep whatever it is a secret.

If you believe Jacques Vallee's take on things, it makes no sense for us to have physical craft or bodies unless that's yet another way the trickster/control phenomenon fucks with us.

If you believe Bob Lazar saw what he says he saw, and it wasn't something man-made, it actually sounds like a prop left for us to find that does nothing but confuse the shit out of everybody.  It's constructed in a way we don't understand, with a "propulsion system" (that doesn't look like a propulsion system) we can't figure out, with tiny molded seats and no control surfaces.  Nothing about it makes any rational sense.  It's like showing somebody a bathtub and saying it's a car, just have to figure out how it works.  Meanwhile, whatever's responsible for these objects is like "These fucking three dimensional idiots think it's a space ship!  LOL!"

The strangeness of the craft adds a lot of validity, same with some of the abduction stories.  If you're making shit up, the inside of the alien spaceship should at least somewhat resemble something we can recognize as a vehicle.  Every sci-fi movie or series depicts the ships with control panels, screens, windows, lights, etc no matter what species is flying them because it's our only frame of reference.  Why make up a story where the vehicle doesn't have a single feature that we associate with vehicles?

They are real, there is zero doubt of that.

This is from someone who poked fun at me for years, but who is now in DC at one of the acronym agencies.

"I owe you an apology, turns out they are very real, like really fucking real."

Me: "They?"

"I can just say they are real, we didn't get invited into the additional meetings after our debrief."

Me: "Can I have an UFO challenge coin?"

Watched the age of disclosure 2x.

First time: fucking aliens man

second time: weird psyop being tested as a new 'global crisis' funding excuse now that Global Warming has peter'd out / possibly intended to draw funding away from confronting China.

For me, the explanation of 'cant photograph them because of their energy time dilation shield' was the tip off, because earlier we're told of people spotting these things with their mk1 eyeball.

Also the main guy: "Ive seen the shit that totally proves aliens are real, but its classified, yet im going on a movie saying they are real, but cant tell you more because its classified, and 27 secret people in the Star Chamber are debating killing me to keep me from revealing the truth, but rather then reveal the truth so as to make killing me pointless/impossible, I'm going to keep it a secret so as to remain a silenceable witness worth killing."

It could be both.  There might have been bodies or remains recovered, and the technology of any vehicles or devices, possibly not connected to any given remains, still defies our efforts to understand, not to mention duplicate.

After all, whatever the origin of the remains and devices, they are fundamentally alien, in the purest sense of the word.

As for some control panels others void of. I wouldn't know. I imagine some may be hundreds of years ahead of us, possibly thousands or millions or more?

My personal opinion is that we have zero proof of aliens or crashed ships or anything. If ufos exist that aren't government creations our government doesn't know what they are .  I honestly don't believe they exist at this point though

I think this started out as a money laundering operation based on ufo hysteria our government likely spread.    As the information and Internet age came about I think the psyop is being morphed into a way to keep the military industrial complex afloat.  It's getting increasingly more difficult to convince people a war is justified.  The lies and the manipulation government uses to start wars is falling flat on its face.  The amount of people willing to swallow their propaganda is smaller by the day.   Once the boomers who watch cable news die off the traditional fear mongering is over.

I think the "disclosure" is happening now to usher in the new threat.  I think many of the videos we see are either fake or advanced weapons programs.  Remember when all the ufos were triangles and then we find out about the b2 and f117?

I wouldn't be surprised if secret weapons programs at this point have created some drones pushing the limits of known physics and they are keeping that shit locked down airtight.   It has no value in wars on earth because we will always have superior traditional weapons and tech and nuclear prevents any real threat.   So why roll out the tictac as a military weapon?  It has way more value as a psyop craft .    A small unknown organization flies around these crazy things ,  the intelligence organizations send people out to investigate, the military intelligence gets "evidence" of these things .  This stuff filters out to the general public.

I think at the end of this disclosure of lies they tell us they have no clue wtf this stuff is because only a select few even know it's a psyop as it's so far removed from other secret but on the books operations.    This will scare people and keep people unconcerned about the defense budget that they are skimming money from.   I think if people still arwnt buying it they will have some of these crafts make much more public appearances and allow some to be captured with more clear footage.  Eventually if need be they may even use one in a false flag operation of some kind to increase the fear of them.

This is all long term planning to keep the money printer moving and keep the military industrial complex afloat.

I used to be 80/20 that aliens are real.
Since their "disclosure" campaign I'm about 90/10 it's been a psyop all along.  I hope I'm wrong because I want to believe in a future where we get some anti gravity drives and wild tech from aliens but I don't think it's real now.

That is the easiest to believe.  DEVGRU and some CIA agents are well practiced with "Rendition" and un-personing people including their vehicles and contents of their house, within an hour, and not waking the neighbors.

It's only a small step further for them to call in a blackhawk for something too big for a street and the rest is trip as usual, Ask no questions, do your job and shut up about it.

The guy who has the mental damage from sling loading a craft which tried to telepathically attack him is a great example of a guy not read in on shit just told to lower the line at these coordinates, and fly it to these other coordinates without dilly dallying or asking questions about what the load is.  He's been trying to get compensation for his disability since he lost his flight ticket due to failing a flight physical and he mentioned it which was all they needed to screw him over since he wasn't supposed to talk about anything.  Something like that, he's very upset he was "damaged" by radiation or unknown force in the transport that night.  I forgot who interviewed him, they were outside under a tree, maybe Jesse Michaels?

Also the main guy: "Ive seen the shit that totally proves aliens are real, but its classified, yet im going on a movie saying they are real, but cant tell you more because its classified, and 27 secret people in the Star Chamber are debating killing me to keep me from revealing the truth, but rather then reveal the truth so as to make killing me pointless/impossible, I'm going to keep it a secret so as to remain a silenceable witness worth killing."

Excellent skit, thats how I will imagine Bigfoot from now on.

Obviously they’re from our own future.

The crashes can easily explained by the fact that the spacecraft involved that have crashed were made by union labor at the Ford Motor Company.  You don’t see Toyota spacecraft crashing.

I think there is a pretty good chance that a lot of this is BS.  If it is, it has probably been done to mislead our competitors and enemies.

On the other hand, I think there is also a pretty good chance that much of what we hear is real and it is being hidden by those involved for a whole bunch of reasons. Reasons such as keeping strategic secrets, hiding the fact that laws have been broken in the funding and protection of those secrets, and the regular old reason of bureaucrats protecting what they see as "their" turf.  This last reason is the most dangerous and pisses me off the most.  People thinking they are above the law and beyond the reach of the people is a very bad thing in any government.

Hopefully, the reason we haven't seen a lot of talk in the last couple of weeks from the members of congress that are working on this is due to them being busy interviewing those who have been released from their NDA's.

It's as if a big chunk of our adult population has lost the ability to tell the difference between what is possible, and what is probable.

That's the edge of the rules for allowed.  If it were in reply to a legit BF thread then it would be different.   However, there are things that are similar between UFO and BF.   Both have problems taking photos of with long exposures, many "dragonflies" have been caught zooming past airliners and helicopters running at 1/5000th or faster shutter speed and 60 frames/second.   The shutter speed down under 1/1000 just has them invisible since they're tiny, fast, which blurred into nothing.

Blurring is so common that people only need to follow several aircraft with a mid length lens as the guy who found them lives near airport so an 80mm lens (about the same as eye field of view) he points and tracks with tripod and then waits for next one.   When he goes back through them, you don't see anything.   However, when you go back and look at the video frame by frame, or have a plugin that finds dust/odd bits in frames, you can get from 2 to a dozen freeze frames of what we now call "plasmoids", but these are very small.   Our eyes can't see them, they're small so blurred beyond your eye ability to see background.    Now, taking that to something closer and  larger, some "liminal" zone between dimensions could have some creature just coming between and due to the size a larger creature is blurry instead of invisible as in the case of smaller objects.   But BF could be fast like the plasmoids to the point of flight or popping in and out of reality.

Hell I have no idea how to explain it but this is a list of hypotheticals that have been shown to exist for absolute sure pretty much nationwide in the larger metro areas for the "bugs" which are the small, like softball sized plasmoids either flashing past craft in same direction, or orbiting the craft perpendicular to line of flight.   I've learned from experience to never discard information because I didn't/don't embrace it, it's easier to just filter it and see what happens.  There actually was a correlation between Bigfoot sightings and UFO sightings found by Blue book and one of the ungodly page count releases a few years ago that made a big blip but then vanished, mostly because people don't want bigfoot to exist but "flying saucers" for some reason the public is more trusting of, even more trusting than our own government.    The only argue against is "Better the devil you know than the one you don't".

I think the biggest question to ask on reversed engineering and craft retrieval to deduce whether it's real.

If we really are reverse engineering something like anti gravity tech.  Would the profit potential outweigh the benefits of secrecy?

Some people would lose a lot of money with a perpetual energy machine but then again the company holding the patent has the potential of being a trillionaire.

Could the old guard of profit seekers keep something like that secret?  Is our government so corrupt they'd keep the Star Trek future from the world ?

That or it's all coordinated to get some marketable shit out in the open and dodge having to admit somebody has been working on NHI shit for decades.

Lockheed tried to transfer something NHI-related to Bigelow Aerospace years back but somebody blocked it at the last second, after Bigelow spent a bunch of money on a facility to store and study whatever it was.

If this is a psyop whats the motivation? Money? Power? Misdirection for the public or national enemies? Im beginning to believe all three.

What gets me, and I have to credit AJ/Whyfiles for this; is all these people claiming they're in the know are gov intel people. AJ trusts none of them and will never invite them to his show. I dont blame him.

Seriously how hard is it to get an intel guy to play the part? Or how hard is it to Paul Bennewitz someone into becoming a useful idiot "whistlblower". Hell its even possible they went to all that trouble to create Bob Lazar.

I think its disguisting what Richard Doty did to Paul. Whats worse is RD's acceptance as a whistleblower by the community after all that. It just goes to show how gullible and stupid most people are. Which is probably why this whole UAP -string em along- thing keeps working. The intel community has the proof it works so they just keep doing it. Never let a good recipe go to waste.

Its all so tiresome. Im beginning to not give a shit anymore. Oh look! Another credible whistleblower is going to testify! I dont care. Oh look at this new movie portraying whats going on! I dont care, not seeing it. Look at this youtube or X vid interview! Dont care. Elizondo and Grusch have something new to say! Dont care, fuck off the both of you.

The spin, manipulation and gov involvement is getting old.

Disclaimer: its not that I dont believe the "phenomenon" is real. I have a biblical world view and know its real, and know for a fact what/who it is.

Profit also leans toward it being fake.

If Lockheed has secret alien tech and the solution to limitless energy, you'd expect it to have a market cap larger than $135 billion.

Thats less valuable than Salesforce, a biz software company, market cap $161B.

This all makes a lot more sense when you realize it isn't just "the government."

There's likely a small group of folks who aren't directly on the government's payroll that run this shit and they've successfully dodged oversight for decades.  They use the wildly convoluted classification rules and blanket contracts to keep it going but "the government" wants to wrangle them back in and find out where all the money has been going.

This whole thing reads more like an internal power struggle.

It basically boils down to mocking or stirring shit in some other way.   I also found it humorous, but if it was posted at the expense of somebody else's comment, that context would be different and even thoug humorous to some, not to others.   We're not a hive brain, and often when a fringe topic comes up, a post like that is like bait for GD to come pile on the thread, so it's prophylactic denial rather than against the rules denial.

It's one of the "you'll know when you see it" kind of situations.   The poster is responsible for all content of a video and any meme, all words and statements are treated as that person typing the details or describing them in the post.  If that crosses the line, the meme/video crosses the line.      I still have not and don't think I will ever come up with a concrete definition of "GD Bait" though.

That might be part of how we cannot draw a line for "who paid for it" thing.   There's a LOT of million/billionaires from tech sector with more money than they could ever use and then some that are more than happy to give the government a loan.   Say "Building a new datacenter over here since it's in a low tax and mostly uninhabited area, that's possible now with everybody working from home, only the staff for keeping stuff running need to be there and there's onsite housing.

Then after it's built, but before they put very much hardware there, they abandon the project because of some last minute change (any excuse, really).  Then some NGO reimburses them for the full amount they spent plus a few million extra (or a chunk of national park after border moves) as a thank you when you donate the title to some other NGO which got it's money from a giant parent NGO which gets trillions per year from various line items in the budget, but you'll never easily backtrace it unless you're "The Accountant".

That is the same sort of game they play with profiles and CIA/FBI and even local police if it's a murder, since FBI gets involved they share all their cool data with local LE.  The government didn't listen to the phone lines, they just have a line item subscription to Google, Apple, and Microsoft executive services, only a trillion a year for all the queries and full data.

They don't do it direct like they did back in 50s-70s when it was "America, Fuck Yeah!" for real with the massive propaganda due cold war and only a few in the know because this stuff would never make the news other than Coast to Coast or a newsletter (Literally a typed out letter from a Daisy Wheel printer on an Commodore 64, Commodore Pet, IBM PCJr, Atari 800XL/etc) and one guy would lick and ail all those  out to people who have subscribed to the newsletter.   Today people talk about newsletters as "Yeah, I check his website a lot"" when they don't know the origins of the term.
