FEMA MREs These are older FEMA 16 meals per case for $14.99 delivered from American Reloading. They are older and inferior to the more recently made military MREs from the good people at Kings. I have had these and they are edible and worth the less than a buck a pop price but they are more a lunch MRE in comparison. They are all a pasta main pouch with crackers, jelly, a pop tart (Supposed to be 2 but they are fused as one) with a heater that does not work at all and a tootsie roll. Pasta is dried and stale but OK helped if you add some fresh Ragu type sauce, the crackers and pop tarts are fine. For less that a dollar a meal I rate these as once a week tops |

I bought some of these before there were super deals and paid $40.00 and they were not as good as the more recent ones. At 94 cents current offer a meal they are edible and if they still have more after I get mine (to verify they are the better ones) I will order a bunch. They don't suck (IMO) but they are nowhere near as good as the ones from Kings but those are running $3.20 a meal so as a lunch meal they are decent. |

The FEMA rations should be the cheapest given they have the least amount of food. HDR’s are by far the best value as they contain 2 entrees plus more sides. Helps that I really like lentils & beans but as actual SHTF food - no one is not going to eat them, like it or not. |

Ordered and received the first of two cases today. Box had a 6/2025 date on them. Open and inspected the contents. The advertised 16 meals, with minor damage to two of them. The Apple jelly packets were folded over, busted open, and the contents were a sticky mess. The main bag was vacuum packed, and the tootsie roll looked like it had made a trip with the Titan submarine. |

You can get an even better deal by getting a gift card and using it to buy these. Right now gift cards are 20% off. But to be honest, all MRE's are is canned food in a bag. It doesn't last any longer than normal canned food. Most people would be better off picking up a case or 6 of Dinty Moore Beef Stew at the grocery store than messing around with this stuff that's already pretty old. |

I got one of the 2 cases today, apparently shipped separately. These are the better than other FEMA I have bought but they are older and are not comparable to the higher quality military full meals like KIng sells But $15.00 delivered for 16 lunch size meals is still a bargain just not to buy as long term storage. I would recommend using them in 2 years or less. I add some pasta sauce to the main course and a little water as they are dry. The Tootsie roll varies from damaged to smashed and melted into the wrapping but taste fine, the crackers are fine and the pop tarts are decent but the 2 are joined as one At .94 cents a meal they are (IMO) worth getting a supply to eat within 2 years no more. I ordered 2 and will order 2 more. 94cents, Scheise, I can't buy a can of crappy soup for that Once a week anymore often I can't see (These are not anything like those mentioned that made people barf) |

Hell, it's free shipping and at a dollar a pop, I can sell them at a yard sale for $5 Over 1,000 in stock, so I'm wondering where they got them... probably sitting on pallets in the hot sun for months on end after hurricane helene. I wonder are there any gov surplus auctions with stuff like this in bulk for even less |

Want a good image We deployed to the south for a hurricane. We were some of the first ambulances to arrive. They set us (50 ambulances) up on an airport tarmac. Sleep in the trucks. Food will be brought to you. They brought us these to eat. They were slightly expired. We had 2 toilets for everyone. They were a mile walk away. I saw several people shitting in the grass. Creating a mine field of human excrement I’d rather die than eat another one of these |

Hell they all gave them away. Horrible low sodium meals. My Son wanted to try MRE's I told him this isnt MRE's these are shit. |
