Gunny was a legacy SFRD, got him in January of 2017 from Mark. Gave him the best life we could, but his and the vets fight ended today. He was my best Bud, never angry, never vicious, 140 pounds of love and attention. Dude saved my life, when I had my heart attack back in June of this year he went and woke my wife up and dragged her into where I was. Yeah, the hurt will go away, but for now it’s really tough. I'm so sorry for your loss. The pain of losing a good dog is awful, but it's worth it for what they add to our lives. Thank you for the life you gave to Gunny. I have two of my Semper Fi dogs sleeping under my desk as I type this, and I realized that we're going to come to a point where we lose the last of Mark's dogs. That made your loss of Gunny even sadder for me. |
