I am sorry to hear this. I didn’t know him IRL but I do remember him replying in some of the threads I followed over the years and perhaps the main reason I always liked him is he stuck up for me or replied positive to some stupid post back when I was new and I have remembered it since.

Same. Over a period of time on all these various internet discussion boards, even though most of us never know each others name, we grow what seems to be a bond with each other.

We like some posters better than others, we argue, complain, bitch, gripe, but we're all on the same team here with pretty much the same views, as on this site, as an example.

When you read about the passing of a member, it really and truly hurts.

He was a baseball guy and a Giants fan. I enjoyed the 2014 World Series thread with him. Great WS, went 7 games. I congratulated him after Game 7 and he was a gracious winner. We are all diminished. RIP friend.
