There is a thread in GD now about Alaska, reminded me about Aviator. Posted about him, then did a search. Found this thread then deleted my post. Not sure how I missed this or the other thread  I was hiring in for LMCO (contract work), Aviator was on ground with State. Spoke to me and sent me a few emails. I ultimately didn't sign the contract, job offer for my current employer showed up when the doorbell rang as when DHL delivering the contract. Looked long-term and I didn't trust that I would have a perm gig with LMCO after rotations. Spoke with him again and gave him thanks. I remember his thread about being under fire in Afghanistan. He was legendary here. He was a good man. |
