I've recently gotten my Arrma Mojave 6s out and I've been hitting low voltage cutoff early. I assume voltage sag under load. Can't even make a decent WOT pass down my street. I'm running a 40c 11,000mAh 6s pack that I've had for quite a few years. Cells seem fine within a couple 0.01s of a volt from one another when I check it here and there. I've never run this battery in this rig before but at 11000mAh and 40c that's a LOT of promised juice. Did the same thing with my old 3s 5700mAh 80c packs which are also quite a few years old. I feel like an idiot and feel like I'm missing something or is it just old packs? |

Im confused, it is just one battery pack or all of them having this issue? Easy thing to do would be to verify it runs with a battery pack that you know is good. They do randomly die. The QC on most packs is really low. After that, I would check connections, remap your controller to your esc. If still and issue, then like the poster above said, you prob need a new esc. |

Was hoping it would go up in flames and need to be replaced due to catastrophic failure. Hobbywing stuff any good these days? Castle failed to impress me years ago. A known "good" battery is a good question. First time it's been out since before winter. Same packs as before. I usually crawl where I don't need massive discharge and these are my only "big" batteries. A 30c 1800mAh 3s probably won't last but 30 seconds and not be capable of the required discharge. |

Hobbywing is my go to for electric cars and trucks. I have a 12s, a couple 8s and a bunch of 6,4 and 3s HW set ups. All good to go so far. Easy to program also. The C rating can matter with some of the Spektrum ESCs. The one the came in my LMT was that way. Any batt under 50c and it got freaky on me. Acted like it was hitting low voltage cutoff all the time, wierd. |

C rating has nothing to do with it other than a way of quantifying discharge capabilities. 70c packs, lower discharge abilities than the 40c pack, are doing the same thing. Likely ESC I'd say. Maybe I'll drop the old hobbywing system with the 6 pole brushless 2560kv motor into it. |
