It sounds like the RNC is sharing contact data with Fetterman's organization. I get tons of (R) texts but never a (D) one, until now. (I live in Virginia.) And this has enraged a lot of people in the media, in my party, and even in my own staff --- where disgruntled leakers are anonymously attacking me. This is what happens when you don't toe the party line. This is what happens when you put common sense and the wellbeing of the people you are supposed to represent ahead of party loyalty. But most of all, I think this is what happens when you clash with the Socialist movement "DSA!" that is hijacking the Democratic party. They want to... Abolish our borders Abolish the Electoral College Abolish Israel Abolish the Senate The bad news is the "DSA!" crazies have gone from the political fringe to controlling one of America's major political parties—and onto ballots across the country. The good news is the hardworking, common-sense Pennsylvanians I talk to every day still aren't buying it. I mean, a recent Rasmussen poll kind of proves it: 71% of Americans reject socialism 67% of Democrat voters reject socialism While 82% of Republican voters reject socialism But here's the thing. The loudest voice in the room is often the one that looks the most powerful. And I've got to say, the "DSA!" voices in Washington are loud and getting louder. The media is their megaphone. Which is why you may be under the false impression that people really do want the "DSA!" and their extreme policies. Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm standing up to them. But sadly I'm pretty much alone on this side of the aisle. So, can I ask you a favor? Whatever your party affiliation is, can I ask you to stand with me against the daily barrage of hit-pieces? If you can donate just $25, it would be a big help to me. But it will also send a message. It will show the truth that the "real numbers" are on our side here in Pennsylvania, as well as around the rest of America. You know, I recently stood in front of the iconic U.S. Steel Mill and recorded a video talking about how my friend Dave McCormick and I banded together with President Trump to save this facility and the larger steel industry. This is thing apparently. Given the possibility that this guy alone could hold the key to control over the senate I'm not surprised. SEN. JOHN FETTERMAN, a Pennsylvania Democrat, is sending fundraising emails pledging to “stand with America” and “reject the extremes” — using email lists for Republican candidates and committees. An email first sent over the weekend sent by Fetterman’s campaign came from the address “[email protected]” and vowed: “I’m always going to reject Socialism and the Anti-American way of life.” Other recent appeals sent from the same address encourage readers to help President Donald Trump pass new voting restrictions, to read an “urgent memo” from House Speaker Mike Johnson on fighting the left, and to back Republican Mike Rogers for Senate in Michigan over Abdul El-Sayed, whom the email compared to a terrorist and a “threat to our way of life.” The email from Fetterman’s campaign comes as the senator has moved closer to the Republican caucus, rankling his Democratic colleagues and spurring rumors that he might switch parties. He received the maximum allowed contribution from GOP megadonor Harlan Crow, as The Intercept reported in July. But the use of Republican fundraising infrastructure represents a new step in Fetterman’s confounding electoral strategy. The Fetterman campaign also sent copies of the fundraising email from alternate GOP domains including “unshakeableconservatives.com” and “freedomfaction.net.” It’s possible that Fetterman for PA rented or bought a GOP email list, something campaigns commonly do for targeted outreach, but the campaign’s specific arrangement is unclear. Anyone can purchase those lists. Anedot.com is a for profit entity. They probably take a percentage. Some of the URLs mentioned in this thread are nothing more than shells or placeholders. Check where the money is actually going before donating or donate directly. Cross party fundraising is a strategy. Here in IL the Dems funneled donated to the MAGA candidate in the governor primary. They knew they can beat the MAGA candidate in the general election. A true moderate would cause them issues. |

Not gonna lie, I kinda like him. More times than not I agree with what he's saying when I see an interview. Granted the only interviews I see are those by FAUX about topics that are relevant to Rs and Independents/Libertarians. But still, I like the guy. I'm a little bit ashamed of playing "pile on" with the memes initially when he won the election.

Both the RNC and the DNC do institutional fundraising on the reputation of a popular candidate, who may never see a dime of it. Then--as you pointed out--there's often some middleman taking his cut. |

I've gotten a bunch of those texts on my old phone I don't use anymore and a bunch of the emails on an old email account I don't use anymore. I .. should .. never .. have .. donated .. to .. the .. Repulican .. party. They will never leave me alone now. I get bombarded by their crap on my old email and phone that I still monitor. I had to change my phone numbers and email address to get away from them.  |

How often does he break from his party on actual votes? All the speechifying in the world means nothing if he's still a reliable vote for whatever Schmuck Schumer tells him to support. "i vote for the person, not the party." No, you're voting for the agenda of the party leadership of whichever party the person claims to be from, at least if that person wants to not be successfully primaried. Doubly so if that person isn't dug in like a tick over the course of centuries like John McLame. Which is why Fetterman might be less offensive to all five senses than the luminaries that my state sends to Washington but I'm not sending him any money. |

He's not a reliable vote for the party, and publicly clashes with his party on a number of significant issues; the filibuster, the need to beat China in the AI race, data centers, energy independence, immigration, socialism, etc. He's even talked openly about trying to work with Trump. If you recall the last SOTU, he wore a suit, shook Trump's hand, and treated Trump and the occasion with proper dignity and respect while much of the rest of the dem party acted like a bunch of ignorant baboons. If you've been paying attention you would have noticed the knives are out in the dem party for him. He's very likely to face a strong primary challenge and not get support from his party. I think his future depends on what happens with Mike Rogers in MI. If Rogers wins, I think the party establishment may go after the left wing of the party for losing the seat with el Sayed and maybe (just maybe) the dem party will see that more moderate candidates like Fetterman are the way to go in middle America. If el Sayed wins, the party is going to lurch further to the left and they'll try to get rid of Fetterman for an insane leftist lunatic. |

My favorite (R) texts are "You're a worthless piece of shit for not responding" shortly followed by "You're a shining star in the party." If I wanted that kind of schizo crap, I'd get married.
