Thinking of ditching my home security company and getting an appliance that uses a cellular sim for all the connectivity Superlink gateway HA Which in the past all their devices use att wireless only Any thoughts on getting a sim activated for this with minimal data usage/ cost? |

If all you need is a SIM with data then there are two good options. 1. Google FI gives out data only SIMs if you have a phone with service from them. The SIM is free but they charge for usage. 2. IOT SIMs. I've used these in many places. Unlimited usage but capped at 64k / sec. 3 (bonus). Starlink has a standby plan that is $5 / month and 500k/s. |

(stays on wifi 99%) but i still need celluar when on the go and in my car. that is a ESIM obviously i must be blind. because i sure can't find this plan: Do you have unlimited plans? Yes, we have options for unlimited plans, but the speeds are throttled down. We have a plan that supports 64kbps speed, and another that supports 750kbps speed. |

So, all I need to do to disable your security system is bring a cell/wifi jammer with me when I break in? At least have a solid backup of the recordings so you have surveillance video to hand over to LE afterwards. Either SD cards in the cameras that can't be quickly removed by bad actors, or hardwired to a concealed hard drive. |

The one I linked to is "Unlimited 64 kbps" on AT&T. I use it so that my house can monitor my truck's battery pack when I'm not bothering to keep the Starlink powered up. |
