Then what are you doing that is a worse use of your time? Oh my - I have been patiently waiting. I haven’t been this attached to a turn based JRPG style game since FFVII.  Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Reveal Trailer | PS5 Games Wow is it good. The story, the visuals, the music, the gameplay. Very strong candidate for game of the year. |

| Yes. Everyone should be playing this game. This would be the best game since Baldurs Gate 3 and probably will take home game of the year. I would go as far to say this game surpasses BG3 due to the fact it’s a new studio, technically an Indy dev and only 30 people made it. |

| I’m not a huge turn based combat fan either, but it’s very well done. Great character design where you’re always thinking a few turns ahead to maximize your rotation. The parry, jump, and dodge mechanics are critical to winning fights, and make it much more interactive. Don’t let that stop you from checking it out. |

I just downloaded it for PC. Did the combat tutorial, met Sophie and was gonna walk her to the harbor. Hit M to see map. Did nothing. Hit esc to get the menu. Saw Expedition Basics. Clicked it. Game froze. Music playing. Caps lock turns on and off. Screen says Expedition Basics but otherwise blank. Can’t exit, can’t select anything. Not what I would call stable. I’m not playing on a gaming computer but still. We’ll see. Not impressed in the first couple minutes though. |

I've played it for the better part of this evening. This is a special game. I would almost argue that even if you don't like turn based RPGs, if you like and appreciate beautifully well made games, you should play this. It runs well on the Steam Deck too. Some of the colors are a little weird and itllhe graphics aren't as pretty, but functionally it's good. |

With all of the real-time dodges/parries/attacks/etc. in battle, it doesn't feel turn-based. As a huge fan of traditional JRPGs and turn-based games, though, I'm a huge fan of this game's combat system. I'm playing on a PC but using a PS5 controller. No issues with most settings maxed (4070Ti) |

I dunno. I think it kinda sucks. It’s apparently just linear. No open world to explore. Oh, I can go left for a few feet here and get a chroma thing, then go back the way I came. Then it’s just timing in combat. Which you need to fight them a couple times before you learn their indicators. The story is sorta interesting cuz it’s different. But this isn’t my style. I thought it would give me nostalgia for one of the Final Fantasy games I’d really liked years ago, but instead I’m bored. I’m gonna give it a bit more to see if it improves. But I don’t have high hopes. No way this is a quarter as good as BG3. Not in the discussion of RDR2 or Fallout or Skyrim. Actually, it’s kinda reminding me of that Atomic game that everyone was talking up a year or two ago. Interesting concepts, shitty games. |

When do all skills unlock? I am at visage act 3 and it's not doable with my skills. Maelle is missing 6 skills hidden behind locks, I don't even know what they are. 3 at top of skill tree, 2 on the far right side and 1 to right of swiftstride. Lune missing 2 on far right and Verso is also missing the same 2. |

When at camp, you want to speak to each character and choose yes to spend time with them. Level 4, then 6 unlock them. |
