Brethren, I have gallbladder removal surgery for this Tuesday morning. While I have been anointed with oil according to the instruction of St. James, I would also be grateful for any prayers here. Attached File |

This one's heavy, but we received bad news this passed week, my wife, 31, doctors have diagnosed her with stage 2 breast cancer. It's quite a shock, but we found a lump some time around November/December and waited until we got back home from Christmas vacation to have it checked. It turned out to be our worst fear. My wife has been surprisingly positive and hopeful, and I've been reassuring her that everything will be okay. Honestly I'm probably more scared than she is. On the bright side, she has insurance. The bad news is that I don't and I'm not currently employed. I quit my day job end of last year and am on sabbatical receiving my licenses and certification to start my own business. This could not have come at a worse time. However we are leaning on the Lord who makes all things possible. We could use some prayers please, my wife is Sam and I'm Mike. Thank you. P.S. F cancer! |

| If anyone has the time, I'd appreciate prayers for my mother. The last year has been really hard, for her and for all of us who loved her and hated to see her in pain, but she finally passed on Tuesday. I thought I would feel better that she was finally free from that burden, but it's been so hard. I miss her so much. If you have time, please pray she rests easy and gets her final reward. Thanks. God bless. |

I would appreciate any prayers I could get for my brother Shane. He’s about 12 days in on a 30 day rehab stay for alcoholism. He was pretty positive for the first week but I’m slowly seeing it slip away. I text with him daily and he’s starting to respond slower and not sound so upbeat. I know he’s homesick but I’m praying hard that he’s able to complete the 30 days. He’s married and I’m not certain where his marriage will end up and I know the stress of being away is eating him alive. I’m encouraging him as much as I can. He has children and grandchildren that need him badly. I’ll be forever grateful for any prayers you can offer up. Thank you |

I’m not sure where to start or what to say. I’m reading my Bible daily, have been since last year trying to be a better Christian. I’m trying to change careers, I’ve earned my second masters in sport management because I just wasn’t a good teacher or coach. Or I was made to feel that way by being let go from 3 schools in consecutive years. Evidence points to that I wasn't worth a hill of beans. I’ve applied to over 100 different positions and have only had one interview and didn’t get the job. I’m struggling with understanding God’s timing because my fiscal timing is running out. I’ve tried to think of it as me wandering the desert or about to pick out a rock for my sling, but I don’t have much hope. I feel like a failure as a person and husband. I don’t know what else I can do. |
Looking for work: athletics admin, marketing, event promotions, facility operations.

I just wanted to come back and say that it was, indeed, His timing and not mine. I’m in a role that I love, working in a great environment, and I feel like I’m making a difference. I know it wasn’t my efforts that went into the job, I’m so thankful for the prayers and God putting me where I am. |
