Any of you folks make your own ice cream? Recently got into it and cannot believe how much better it is than store bought!  Bought a Cuisinart ICE 100 recently and need some recipes. |

| Not sure what her recipe is but my wife occasionally makes Gelato with dark chocolate protein powder, chopped cherries, and crumbled Oreo thins that's pretty amazing. I'll ask her about the recipe. It's high in protein so it might not be for everyone. |

It has been a long time since I made any, but i have the kitchenaid stand mixer ice cream maker attachment. I just followed the recipes that came in the owners manual. Black cherry/vanilla was my favorite. You need to let the containers sit in the freezer for a full day, the flavor become a lot more robust or pleasing if you wait they day. Also made red raspberry and maybe a few others. Never tried chocolate |
