We will not be spending any more time updating this version of the tool in favor of moving faster on a completely new IM tool. As far as the encoding issue, I don't recall if we have an exact cause, I'll double check with GB

I just tried to send an IM to a member here and typed in the correct captcha. I was given an error message of the captcha not being correct, along with it ruining the IM. I tried pressing the bbcode button and it did nothing. Glad I copied it before trying to send. It took about 20 min to type it. |

I entered the correct captcha numbers and get a message that it was incorrect and screws up my whole IM, so I have to retype it again. |

The new IM tool will roll out for beta testing later this month or at the beginning of next month. It's a complete rewrite and works as an IM rather than email based system. The current focus is migrating all of the old data into the system in a way that makes sense. |
