Sake is awesome. I love it. My wife, not so much. I think it is best enjoyed with others. There is a social connection, or communal element, when it comes to drinking Sake. Never pour your own. Always use two hands when pouring someone else’s drink. |

Dad was gifted a couple bottles of Sake from Japan from his Japanese renters who would come over for a year and help run the TAC plant in Jackson Michigan. One would leave and the next one would take over the condo from him. Dad loved them as tenants, he swore they basically never cooked or used any appliance save for the fridge and maybe the washer/dryer. What they did like to do if not working was drink GOOD whiskey and such. When he passed he had 6-8 full bottles of very high end Japanese Sake in the cupboards. |
