Last fall I had my first experience with sciatica. I battled with this shit all winter. I’ve been pain free for a few months now. Started putting a month or so ago but I’ve been hesitant to take any full swings. I was up in Eugene yesterday so I had to make a stop at Fiddlers Green golf shop. Next thing I know I’m demoing clubs.
No pain, swing came back pretty quick. Got up this morning and headed to the range. Feels good man!

Great to hear.

After 9 years, I returned to golf.   Was fitted and everything went well.  Nice smooth swing, etc.  Git on the course, swung a 5i and duffed into the ground.  My left lower last muscle is killing me now.  I use graphite, but for some reason I tried to swing the 5i to the sun.

I have no pain raising my arm, or even going through a swing motion.  But just walking really lights it up.  We're headed on a multi-family vacation next week to OBX abd have an outting planned.  I'll likely end up chip n putt the course.

I have a feeling I'll be working on my short game the rest of the season

I hope you get this figured out soon. If it's anything like what I had, I don't wish that on anybody!

Thanks.  It's not back related per se, but anything muscle related can be a bitch to bounce back from, especially at 60.
