Check out what was inside! My old acoustic is a Celebrity. The v shape neck is pretty small for my claws and the bowl shaped body always slid off my lap so I went on a search for a new box. I like cutaways for fret access and spent a few months playing everything in town and settled on this new Martin Road Series GPC10E. Yeah, it isn't a D28, D35, J45, but to me it sounds awesome and it begs to be played. This one is all solid sepele and sounds way better than the HPL models but what I really like is the fretboard. It's richlite. It doesn't look like wood but it's nice and dark and it feels great. The road series is meant to look worn. Meh, whatever. Either way I like this thing. It plays great and it makes my ears happy.Attached File |

We have strat cousins  Dumpster dive junkocaster ...Pic was mid project.....I should go play it...lol. It had way more stickers on it when I found it lmao. I've been eying the retro series they've put out....just gotta find some locally to finger bang. Attached File |

In high school I cut off the pickguard and wired in some old Jackson humbuckers. Since then the only original parts are the body, jack, and part of the pickguard. The neck, bridge, electronics, tuners, everything has been replaced. It jams now. The stickers are all current, stuff from my kid and things from my adult life. Gone are the old beer labels and No Doubt concert sticker. |
