Hey. I just got a steam deck and trying to get some emulators. I have no idea what I’m doing. I have however watched some videos.  I’ve opened it in desktop mode, downloaded emudeck, gone into SRM and selected the emulators I want. I then select add games. I get the “enabled parsers returned no apps” message. I have reset configurations as suggested online with no luck. I have also read about changing some setting for local artwork?? But haven’t figured this out. Any help with this? |

If resetting the configs within the ROM manager, and SRM settings within the emudeck itself didn't fix it, scrap the entire thing and start over. If the fixes aren't fixing, something seriously wrong with the install. I've never had that error before. I have emudeck installed along with emulators for every console pretty much, all working. All I did was follow the instructions from emudeck. It's straight forward. I have read that sometimes the installs get screwed up like this, and no amount of "fixing" can fix it. Just scrap it, nuke it from orbit and get rid of everything related to emudeck and start over. |

Personally it was not a problem. Went about very smoothly. Also, just get a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Helps immensely for going to desktop mode and makes the whole process less of a hassle. |
