Budget is around $2,100 but I can go higher for a good reason. As for uses, I watch Youtube and play 25 year old Command and Conquer games... Oh, and Minecraft (without mods, currently). I don't care about RGB and fancy cases. This thing will live under my desk in the dark. I'll run the OS on a SSD then install additional storage later, possibly moved from my current PC. ChatGPT built me a computer at the link below. How does it look? The video card is weak but should be plenty for what I need. I don't really feel like spending $800 on a better card. A few things: 1. You don't need to spend $800 for a better video card. You can get a 5060ti for not that much more and it's a much better video card. 2. You don't need to budget $200 for W11. Everyone buys a key online for $20. 3. I tried that PSU for 1 day and returned it. The Focus GX does not have a way to control the fan, and at idle it was clearly audible in my system which I wasn't going to deal with. I returned it and got a Corsair RM series which has a fan control dial. |

Dump the Samsung M.2 NVME SSD and get a Western Digital Black M.2 NVME ssd. The Samsungs have had a lot of issues in the last year they claim are fixed, but people are still having issues. Like the entire SSD dying and all data being lost. Save your money on W11 like posted above, and buy a 2TB WD Black Series NVME SSD. You will thank me.
