I got a notice on FB that there will be a woodworking tool show in little Freeport, PA, north of Pittsburgh, PA, and really near where I live. Never heard of this group before, but they have some pretty good sponsors (the major woodworking magazines - apparently mostly owned by the same publishing company, which I am not crazy about, but anyways) and tool companies that are supposed to attend. https://planewellness.org/ I dont expect it to be like the Handwerks shows that were held out in Amana Iowa a couole years, never got to make it out there. But at least i am getting something close by and I am anxious to see this one. I used to go to the Popular Woodworking seminars while they had them. And a few of the traveling woodworking shows. The FWW shows or events were usually a little too far away, as was Handwerks in IA |

I would love to attend one of those. Being from the West Coast area, we don't see them much. Huge fan of old planes and hand tools. Some of my favorite hand tools are old Stanley planes and Greenlee socket head chisels. I'm sure the prices have gone up a lot in last 10 years. |

I think I have a few greenlees, but my favorite old chisels are Witherbys I haven't bought any/many old tools for some time, i am pretty well set, almost all of mine are users. So no idea how prices have trended (always up) |

Looks like the same organization is planning a show already for 2026, but maybe in Butler PA.
