A fine horizontal scratch showed up on the fender of my car. Doesn't look deep. This is on a Subaru WRX in "magnetite grey metallic". What should I do to make it go away? This is not a show car or a garage queen, but I would like to keep it looking nice. I do not own any bodywork tools nor am I skilled in that area. |

First we need to figure out how deep it is, if you get the area wet can you still see the scratch? If it goes away the scratch is in the clear coat, wash/dry the car then use compound on that area to get the scratch out and wax/polish the whole car. If it doesn't go away, that gets into paint and sanding and clear coat. whole lotta work. |
