I've head of lights flashing in the sky for days before an earthquake due to large piezoelectric rocks shifting by small amounts but generating lightning level potentials. This in the distance looks like ground lightning except red. Why does everybody assume it's HAARP? Is HAARP even operational this month? I thought they shut it down temporarily due to budget constraints or am I thinking the wrong year? Watch the video from this tweet:

HAARP is supposed to be shut down until August. Ever since the Feds shut it down they only operate a few weeks at a time 2-4 times per year. They blame HAARP and the US because that's a lot easier than explaining that the reason infrastructure is destroyed and so many people are dead is because you put all that money into the pockets of you friends and family and have done nothing for the people they took that money from. |

The physics don't play out - HAARP directs energy upward not downward, and even if it was pointed downward, I highly doubt it has the energy to affect tectonic plates some 5000+ miles away. But it's very difficult to counter nonsensical ideas. |

It is strange. I wonder if the extreme stress causes a piezo effect and some sort of magnetic field generation. Maybe it's something similar to the red sprites at the top of thunderstorms. I can definitely believe there is something connected there to the earthquake but HAARP is silly. |

He's got an amazing earthquake prediction and any time there's a big quake (>6.0), it's followed by same or larger quakes on the other side of the ocean or up/down the fault line weeks to months later. So starting an earthquake in our Hemisphere where pushing Venezuela into the Caribbean plate or Coscos plate means that plate will scoot potentially into either California or the US/TX gulf coast to Haiti, I can see creating an Earthquake in Iraq (if there were some means of doing so), but that close to our shores is Russian roulette. I'd be getting go bags ready if I was anywhere around SoCal or the Caribbean plate, but most have them ready as a standard thing anyway. That "Juan de Fuca" plate started out attached to Baja Mexico and it, along with the edge of the US is moving North, while San Andreas Fault is where it meets a plate that doesn't want to move so easily, thus the CA and earthquakes, new fault lines, these are just the global scale ones.

If you an find a structure to 1s and 0s, you can compress it, but if there's no way of predicting the next character, you can't compress it, but if you can (by knowing how English words use letters and orders of letter, or images have large areas of very similar values that can be predicted and thus lossless compression. If AI can find a pattern or decide how the array data i stored to predict, it could be compressed and the huge data and hard drive loop from Antarctica to Boston would be monthly instead of weekly. So there might be something sinister, he was going to spend a summer there as an intern but he needed to get his appendix removed and a whole bunch of other stuff done due to the lack of routine hospital stuff there, it's all geared toward injuries/work wounds/battlefield type surgery, real sawbones stuff and an appendix is an expensive elective operation, the whole list, I'll have to find it again, but it's insane what you need from security clearance to medical and social/mental screening/fixing before you can go. It's not a free place to visit and that's where I'd keep something strange secret due to the sheer roadblocks for anybody to visit, unless they bring their entire team with doctors and support of every kind with them. So he's working from home. Far cheaper. |

Couldn't possibly be a distant severe thunderstorm? I've never seen red lightning other than on the top sides of thunderstorms/hurricanes viewed by the space station. None on ground side, and the PIezoelectric has a strong theory with it since "Earthquake lights" are common and have been through history, though not sure why it's not blue, I guess not an arc and more of corona flashing or something kind of like Aurora but from the ground up instead of space down? Rewatched again and there are a few blueish-white flashes in with the red, it's just really strange to see. |

Some ideas are truly baffling, while other ideas that do have information and testimony supporting them are thrown away because the same people believe HAARP causes earthquakes or steers hurricanes. Some people take everything in but don't even bother with a cursory separation of wheat from the chaff, which still leaves some utterly plausible and stories with some supporting evidence around. |

To top things off Farm Bureau recently somehow screwed me out of the earthquake ins I’ve had for 4 decades and currently have none. Something I need to get off my ass and correct asap. |
