One massively telling event is Neil DeGrasse Tyson's recent flip on this topic from completely dismissive to accepting and curious.  He has received a talking to because he's the "trusted science guy" so many media sources use for all things space.  I actually noted several years ago that if he changes his tune, we'll know disclosure is upon us.

I’m starting to think the whole release is just to discredit everyone.  

Kind of sad really.  I’m starting to think we will be more confused with it when it’s all over.

I’ve seen a few UFO’s that cannot be explained so I think it’s real.  

I’m just starting to think we are getting nothing of substance here.

The part that shoots it down is all of the high intensity contrasting orbs both black on white, white on black, and white on blue in true color do not show ANY fringing or diffraction from an aperture or optics streaking it out.

Great thing to think of though.  I would think the orbs would be the most likely to show that behavior as a really bright dot on a dark or neutral background is the best way to produce it in a DSLR camera.  The FLIR cameras I don't think use an aperture in the exact same way as on a visible light camera, their apertures are just gain limiters and filters but I have no idea what they're like in the past 20 years for the cutting edge and that might be something they don't want to let out of the bag as well.

You can download diffractsim and get close, but you'll need to modify the script to use the longer IR wavelengths, and you would need to change the lens materiel because they definitely aren't using optical glass. Or you could spend a few thousand bucks and get OpticStudio to make it a lot easier.

Either way your going to need to play around with the shape of the vanes, they use apodizing vanes to prevent diffraction spikes. The vanes are scalloped a little bit, sorta like a serrated knife, the exact pattern is going to have an affect on the diffraction spikes.

In short, nobody that knows even a little bit about cameras and related artifacts was involved with reporting, reviewing, or releasing that video.

Same with the 'debunked" that started in 2017 and got stronger during covid, lots of things were said which we now know for certain were valid/real/effective, but the news would just say "debunked" and refuse to cover it.  Nobody could find a source that did the "debunk", they just threw the word around and hoped nobody would look for the scientific study that debunked it.   The closest the get is "I've seen other pictures and hey didn't look like his one" from somebody known for debunking anything UFO related, so they wrote the whole thing off.

That is fine as long as your position is defensible and explained.   Most all of these my position is unsure, the orbs are too small and the others that we're  seeing don't' fit the 5 observables other than the extreme speeds in a couple videos.  I'm not going to audit true or false or censor dissenting opinions in this forum.

I only ask that you disagree intelligently and explain the reasoning as @Herc explained above this thread regarding the FLIR videos.

The one part that adds weight is the amount of government types trying to stop these from being released, to the extent of killing people that testify.    That's an exceedingly  rash response for an optical effect tor computer altered/created video.

The government has stated these are real craft, images and video captured by or best systems but a lot of that video needs to be degraded to protect the resolution/abilities of our systems.  

I honestly have no idea what they are but when they've been recorded in visible light by amateurs with camera setups pointed at very close military runway flight paths, airplane visible camera, pilot reports and ground reports, then military visible light and FLIR (Tic Tac, GoFast, Gimbal est example)) where they were also seen by radar and tracked by eye of the pilots (Have Carrol).   I tend to think they are closer to real than not but no concept if there are people in these or if it's the alien version of Google Earth just updating their maps.

Then there's the original where the government stated alien beings are real and they've been in contact with them.  They wouldn't go further than that but David Grusch said a lot and included files that had them dead to rights as UFOs are real and the world should know,hence his leaving job and whistleblower protected testimony, 80% or so still not released as the representatives were briefed in a  SCIF so they can't share that info.
