Decided to finally start this project on my Rising Fighter. Since it uses the GH2 chassis, I should be able to just buy the gears, axle shaft, and bearings to have this drop in. Parts printed, other parts on order. Gonna use 70mm Toomod shocks. Attached File ![]() ?Tamiya Grasshopper2? 3D Printed Trailing Arm Conversion Kit |??? ?????2 ????? ??? |

Well that was a bust. The design wasn't all that good. The outdrives didn't fit well in the side gears, and then they would lose contact with the spider gears. Put it back to stock. He has a 3rd version that uses the rear axles from a Frog/Blackfoot that looks promising, though. |

| I made a 3 link setup on my old one when I converted it to carpet racing. Cut the oem pivots off and used larger tie rods for the links. Hornet front a-arms flipped over on the front. flat piece of fiberglass on the bottom of the oem chassis for saddle packs then trimmed the oem chassis down for weight reduction. Damn thing worked pretty damn good on carpet. |
