| I go on a golf trip every year with a large group of buddies. We just got back from Wisconsin, playing SentryWorld, and since the weather was so nice, we are looking into hitting MN. next year. Anybody have any favorite courses in MN? First glance was the Brainerd or Superior areas, but have never golfed up there. We usually play one nice course ($300+) then 3 less expensive tracks over a 4 day window. Any input would be appreciated. |

We do a guy's golf weekend every year up north in MN, either based at my lake place or a friend's place. There's tons of great courses, and depending on what you want and how far you're willing to drive between courses matters. By my place (Perham area) there's Thumper Pond, Wildflower, Perham Lakeside and numerous other courses. There is Giant's Ridge, Breezy Point and Cragun's resorts with "stay and play" packages. |
