@ag04blast Thanks bro. So its basically a buggy style chassis thats lengthened a bit. Running a 13.5T motor with a Hobbywing XR10 160 ESC. They make purpose built drag chassis but they're pretty pricey. Like $500 just for a slider. Mine is a total budget build converted from an SR10 dirt oval car. I would imagine a built drag unit would be an absolute rocket. Yeah I have the stock 6" bar out the back. No weight up front as its geared not much torque. If I was running an outlaw car with a high KV/low turn motor then it'd be 12-15" bar and weights up front. |

Pretty cool OP. When I was in high-school we'd drive up to Kentucky for dirt track racing (buggies,trucks). Got to watch RC rail cars drag race. This was back in the days of brushed motors and NiMh battery packs. But those suckers could still move like crazy; some were running wild 4T motors. |

I have the Losi 22s pick up. Took a while to get it to go straight. This pic is right after I put it together, bought the roller kit. Only 2s. Didn't get to run it in any local races because none around here. Has pro line rears now. Hook much better than the stockers. Attached File |

Honestly out of the 3 major manufacturers, I think the Drag Slash is the best one out of the box stock. Just change the tires and they hook up and perform well. |
