My thanks to @medicmandan for his message from the GL of Utah. Of possible interest to others, our recognition of PH GL of Texas is now complete with PH Lodges able to have use of GL of Texas Lodge rooms. We are all Texas Masons, and PH GL of Texas Grand Lodge Officers attending the Communication for the improvement of fraternal relations. |

The timing on that request was perfect. The next day was our 150th dinner and we just happened to have 200 people in a room to help out with that. Very glad to hear about the recognition of PH. |

We did show your video. Dealing with us is a long process. We are going to recognize the Grand Lodge of Azerbaijan - I think the initial request was made in 2006 ..... You gotta remember the GL of Texas claims not only exclusive Masonic jurisdiction in Texas, but also the Moon as Brother Buzz Aldrin carried the Charter for Tranquility Lodge #2000 with him on Apollo 11. Thus the video from the GL of Alaska got a laugh from us as they claim to be the largest jusrisdiction in the US. They forgot we have the Moon! One of the complexities with PHGL of Texas was the military Lodges in Korea and Germany. Some things needed to get sorted out and it took time, but we got there and the needed changes have been made in our Constitution and law for full interaction. |
