Been considering upgrading the AC on my small RV trailer. Amazon Prime days got me, about $300 off. Goal is to use less power and be able to run the AC off of batteries if needed. Next project is more solar to charge the batteries, for now it'll be a generator. If upgrading to this AC you need the chill cube and the inside part, the diffuser/vent. It's 2 different items. This unit has a smaller footprint but it taller. Install was pretty easy. Only had to remove some spray foam in the roof to get the inside diffuser/vent to fit properly. Once installed I ran a test to see how much power it used compared to the old 13.5btu system. Old was 1600'ish watts and 12+ amps IIRC. Impressive low numbers with the chill cube. See attached video. Once the two 314Ah batteries are delivered I will be installing them and a 3000w inverter inline with the AC to run it if needed without a generator. It should work on low for a few hours, we shall see. Video of the power draw-Switch it on to turbo (high) mode, letting it run for a minute then switching to low.  Furion 18k Chill Cube GeoPro 19FBS.
