Thanks everyone for the support, as Jie already said, it means a lot to him and his family.
A few years ago this wouldn't have really affected me, but having my own little girl that's only a few months older than Em, well it made it hard to see on the drive home from work when I heard the news. So I really appreciate everyone's support as well. |

As a father of a 15 month old girl, I'm so sorry to hear of Emily's illness. I'm literally sick to my stomach over this news. I've been watching this for a few days on the CW FB, and will shoot some additional funds over ASAP.
Is it possible to raise the Go Fund Me goal? The initial goal is met, but it's modest and I'm sure the family can use all the help they can get. |

My younger brother was diagnosed with ALL about 23 years ago. Childhood cancer is a difficult experience, but even back then, it (ALL) responded very well to treatment. He was part of a clinical trial that, from what I remember, did better than the established treatments and he was cured.
I'm sure that it's not easy watching your daughter, and I expect that it's going to become even more difficult as the Chemo wears on her body, but remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You will make it through this! |

I cannot imagine what you guys are going through and I'm currently getting chemo myself. I do not know you or your family but honestly my heart aches for you guys, no child should ever have to know of cancer

Little update, she's still in the hospital. Her blood counts are low, but no infections. She has to go a full 48 hour with no fever. Last fever was early this morning... so let's hope this holds. She had to have a blood transfusion though for the low blood counts.
My wife shared this pic of her while she was getting her transfusion. She looks so big in this! She was putting stickers on a notebook that the nurses found for her.  So enjoy our cuteness! Again, thanks for the immense support!
