One of my nieces and two of my nephews came over for the weekend to go suit shopping for the nephews...found out my niece (26) is into watches...she only owns a Garmin...she has been watching a lot of Teddy's youtube channel along with some others...so..."Oh, I've visited his boutique...check out the watches I tried on" and that led to a visit to Uncle Buddha's watch case...the nephews like watches too, the oldest has 5, now 6... They went home with some neat, new to them hardware (they are getting them all someday, might as well enjoy them now!). Nothing too crazy, but nice watches to start with. Niece went home with a Concord Saratoga SL, note the neat mosaic tile dial.  Older nephew went home with the Hugo Boss Formula 1 McClaren Anniversary Chronograph.  Younger nephew went home with the Movado Dive watch.

Wife and I were on a trip up to Tulsa from DFW and we stopped by the Movado store at an outlet mall, wife used to work at a jeweler that sold Movado, David Yurman, etc....so we did some shopping! I quickly became a fan of Movado and their various brands. The Concord Saratoga spoke to me...I had better eyes back then and could easily see all of the cool details / intricacies of it. |

One of our other nephews was in town last night, we were out to dinner and my niece texted me a picture of the watch on her wrist with this message: “I've gotten a lot of compliments on my watch! Thanks again!‘ Reminded me that I should offer one to my nephew….he went on his journey with a nice FUGU! Pic of it on my wrist… I took him to the airport a few before 4 am so getting a pic of him wearing it was not top of mind…
