Just made it home finally. Thanks again to everyone who came out to the event and braved the heat to have a good time. It went very smoothly and everyone helped each other which was great to see. This event really drove home how neglectful I have been this year on self care and basic skill maintenance. No more excuses. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize and run this event, from resetting targets in between runners to making delicious food it is all tremendously appreciated. Shelby was an awesome host as usual and aside from my run and recovery I had a great time. |

What a great event at an awesome range. Had an amazing time, great eats and thanks to the chefs, and the staff all worked their butts off to keep things going and everyone safe in the heat. Thanks Shelby for dragging me out to my first CW. Can't wait till I'm repaired and can run next year... The sponsors, wow was a sight to see everything donated, including the last prize announced which was just insane. Was nice putting some names and faces together, and was a pleasure meeting and hanging out with ya all. Knight combat run was metal and even followed up with malort boarding later that evening... guys a beast. Blitz's hurl on thermal is pretty awesome too. Good times indeed. |

Great event, great food, great people! Had an absolute blast catching up with colabros and enjoying the usual shenanigans. For a first time NV run, 25th ain't too bad.  Learned a lot about my gear and it's capabilities. There's definitely somethings that I need to work on and look forward to next year!

Awesome time! Big thanks to the sponsors, Shelby, the staff and cooks. It was hot and miserable, but they all made this event very fun! I took several thermal videos. I'll edit those and post them to YouTube (and link them in this thread) in the coming days. I was 24th running NV and it didn't monsoon on me this year! Yay! Can't wait til Heartland 2 in Sept. |
Tristan had a blast and took top child even though he is old as shit. His lower says cola warrior flyover top kid its bad ass. The other kids were all ready to go and had to drag him out of bed to run.  I had a brutal run. The heat made me sad. I failed on pistol which I am supposed to be good at. I left two pistol targets up which doesn't even compute in my head..10 minutes. I also decided last minute to do 24 oz sodas after cleaning the last two 6 pack chugs. The 24 hit different and cost me 10 minutes. Raw time was 24:30 which is still 8:30 behind stoner and 5:30 behind jamie. Much work to be done. The sponsors were all awesome. I got one of the cobra buckle hangers from taters aka Dryden and I am already questioning why I didn't buy one the second they came out as it hangs up the belt so nice. The plaque is beyond cool and I grabbed the beach bag for the lady as I already have one of the G rifle bags and they are great.   Huge shout out to chad and spence as they were normal dudes pumping out edible foods for us when it was hot and shit. Later Zack came along and whipped up some more good stuff but I liked it when bird dog was like. I don't normally cook at home just for you guys. I was happy to see Chad out at the event wandering around and am again amazed that he has this bad ass range complex and is willing to let a bunch of dudes come puke on it. Shelby and all the staff seemed to keep it all running despite being hot as shit. |

I still suck, but this was best I’ve done. I keep upgrading shit every year and get a little better. I agree with Harry, I need to improve on my strength and, of course my shooting. It’s a pain to cook and I appreciated/seized the opportunity. I can’t thank @RadBaron enough for working the kids event. Congrats to Tristan, my kids, and all the others. They dove in head first. And of course, L0pper, with the wonderful carnitas, chili mac, and margaritas. You make it all seem so effortless. Meals were excellent across the board and and the sponsors came up with enough swag that even my piss poor performance still had me coming home with a few goodies. Burned too much time and left 9 fucking targets standing anyway. Rifle went better but I still left 3 because I timed out. |
