I haven't actually had a new PC in 23 years but I've had a couple of hand me downs. This is my first all new PC and it's working well. Doom Eternal set on Ultra Nightmare everything for graphics (Motion Blur disabled) runs a solid 170fps and looks great with ray tracing enabled and no DLSS. I'm honestly glad I didn't try to squeeze a 5070 Ti in the case as I don't really need it after seeing the performance I'm getting. CPU fan seems a bit buzzy so my brother is going to let me test one of the black "heavy duty" Noctua fans that he has laying around before I buy one. Looks good. The only change I would have looked at is 6000 rather than 5600 for the RAM but if you aren't going for 100% max performance its fine. I just reassembled a mini ATX build with a Ryzen 9 5900X and 3070Ti 8GB. It will only do -3 on curve optimization and be stable unlike yours running -10. It benchmarks decent and runs most games at max settings. It only struggles with poorly optimized game benchmarks like Monster Hunter Wilds as it only has 8GB of VRAM. I need to work on cable routing and the system will be complete. It stays around 39-42c at low use and mid 60s when gaming. I pretty much water cooler all of my computers as AIOs can be quite affordable. Hopefully the Noctua works out for you. I have one computer with a Noctua and it made a decent difference in cooling. |

Thanks! Yeah the RAM was actually the gateway purchase I actually found it at Walmart so I impulse purchased it. Yours is a solid build as well. I’ve seen people running -30 on their 9000 series CPU’s and while mine seemed to run fine in game at -25 it’d fail the AIDA64 stability test so I kept rolling it back until it’d run the test for 5 minutes without failing. The CPU actually came with a “free” 240mm AIO but I decided to try the air cooler since I had already ordered it before I found the package deal at Newegg. I’m just more of an air cooler guy but couldn’t say no to a $15 AIO. I’m hoping the Noctua fan works out as well. It’s not an issue if it’s louder but I figured I’d try to quiet it down anyway just because. I sit next to a server rack in my office so quiet isn’t really a thing
