| Got the email thursday I guess i made through the first step and they sent my info to the bases i requested for gs11/12 so hopefully getting through the process. I spoke to one of the lead pilots in mesa a month or so ago and he said the goal from what he heard was hiring this summer and sending people to king air school early fall and start training for the job over winter before the next season |

They have both at our base. |

Attached File My CFI and I got a tour of this thing last year. We had a bad fire season and these guys just happened to be posted up at the airport we fly out of. The pilots probably spent 40-45 minutes with us showing us around the helicopter. Super awesome of them. As a guy who lives in wildfire country. I appreciate all you do. |

My first flying job was flying Cessna 337s on fire patrols in Northern Ontario. I remember having to be good with a map since the primitive GPS units at the time would cease to operate with no warning. Also remember they hired the local skids from town as observers. They would sleep most of the flight.
