This is a must have in my opinion. I like my nicer watches, but there are times you don't want to wear one for obvious reasons - risk of damage, theft, etc. The struggle for me has always been to find an affordable that I not only can live with, but enjoy wearing. Quartz for me is generally a no go because I HATE ticking second hands. Most no second hand watches are a no go for me as I don't like that aesthetic in general. Mechaquartz watches I like, especially the chronos, as the large second hand sweeps when activated and the constant second hand is usually small and in a subdial, so the ticks don't bother me. I bought the larger Bulova Lunar Pilot years ago with the black dial, but it is a little chunky. I kept it because of its heritage. I have so many black dial watches that it just doesn't make it into the rotation. Well I saw this like new Lunar Pilot with the textured white dial and blue tachymeter and subdials and I was like WOH! And the fact that it is a little smaller than the original is better as it wears more comfortably and is more elegant while still being sporty. It has some Daytona Panda vibes, but clearly isn't. My only knocks are I wish it had a screw down crown and I wish the pushers were not a dark shiny metallic blue and were instead brushed stainless steel. But other than those two critiques, this watch is an absolute home run! So if you are looking for a pretty affordable watch with style, lineage, and functionality... give it a look. For me this is a MUST BUY.

You might check out Dryden, one of their Chrono Divers pushed into daily wear for me. The blue, white and stainless are a great color combination in my book and this kind of feels like an Omega Speedmaster Snoopy, but not... kind of like a Daytona, but not... The more I look at it though, the more those blue chrono pushers are annoying me!
